The aim of the project was to improve the work of representatives of a company having bathroom salons in the UK. The specific nature of the company’s operations made it necessary to create a dedicated solution covering almost 300 outlets. Apart from the WWW version used for content management, a solution was created for iPad tablets with the function of handling without access to the Internet. In each place, the representative had access to the necessary information with the possibility of synchronization after gaining access to the network.

The project was carried out for our long-standing client operating in the medical industry dealing with providing IT solutions for clinics and hospitals. As part of the project, we have created an administration module to manage the settings and privileges of the Medicom system. This allowed us to significantly simplify and streamline the work in the field of managing administrative issues of medical facilities.

The purpose of the application was to handle the appliance installation process, first by letting a store employee find a time during which an installation could be scheduled, then by sending an order to OMDE, distributing the jobs among different teams of installers and finally by verifying delivery and supporting order settlement with the store. The new application is used at every stage, allowing the user to view fulfilled and outstanding orders, as well as orders scheduled for subsequent days. Each task (transportation, carrying and installation) takes a different amount of time (e.g. 30 or 45 minutes); the time required to drive to the customer’s location also needs to be taken into account. It’s therefore necessary to have a tool that will ensure optimum utilization of employee’s time, while also allowing to schedule the time necessary to complete the job.

The eWaterPay system is currently available to 20 000 people across Gambia and Tanzania. In order to reach the planned availability to 3 million people by the end of 2020, it’s necessary to speed up the construction of new systems. As part of our work for the SUWAT project, we have committed to develop a solution, that will enable volunteers to significantly increase the rate at which fur ther systems will be built in other regions of Africa. When working on our design, we had to consider the region’s specificcondi tions and technologicall imitations. Due to the fact, that the const ruction of the systems (wells, water taps and pumps) is being funded from donations, the most important criteria included full transparency and at tention to detail when designing the systems, in order to
minimize costs.

The Radom Ambulance Station services 24 towns using 41 ambulances and medical teams. Apart from medical interventions, the unit also provides medical coverage during mass events, medical transportation for newborns and hospital patients and provides medical documentation to authorized parties. Before the new solution was implemented, a large number of requests and a complex document workflow system, has caused delays, hindered communication with the requesting party and led to misunderstandings. The project had the goal of unifying the communications channels, enabling the monitoring of request status and streamlining the exchange of information.
